ApostropheCMS: Missing Authorization on Notification PATCH/DELETE Endpoints
影響: npm:apostrophe < 4.33.0 → 4.33.0 The notification module exposes PATCH and DELETE REST endpoints that perform operations directly on the underlying MongoDB collection without verifying that the requester is authenticated or owns the target notification. As a result, an unauthenticated attacker who obtains a valid notification ID can modify or permanently delete another user's notification. --- Affected Code File text packages/apostrophe/modules/@apostrophecms/notification/index.js javascript // restApiRoutes async patc…
ApostropheCMS import-export: NoSQL injection via update-key value lets a crafted import match and overwrite an unidentified document
影響: npm:@apostrophecms/import-export < 3.7.0 → 3.7.0 @apostrophecms/import-export's update-by-key feature lets an imported document carry a :key property (for example slug:key) whose value is used to find an existing document to update instead of inserting a new one. getUpdateKey()/insertOrUpdateDocWithKey() (lib/methods/import.js) use that value directly as a MongoDB query value with no laundering: js const matchingDraftPromise = manager.findForEditing( req.clone({ mode: 'draft' }), { aposMode: 'draft', [updateField]: doc[updateKey] }).t…
ApostropheCMS: Cross-domain session token in URL confers session takeover
影響: npm:apostrophe < 4.33.0 → 4.33.0, npm:@apostrophecms/passport-bridge < 1.6.1 → 1.6.1 Apostrophe's cross-domain session migration emits a single-use session token as a URL query parameter and stores it in the Mongo cache. Any client that presents the token silently adopts the target user's full session (including passport.user) with no credentials. Details packages/apostrophe/modules/@apostrophecms/i18n/index.js: - Token generation on cross-host/locale flows (L479–487) and passport-bridge cross-locale redirect (passport-bridge/index.js L557–593) places the token in the U…
ApostropheCMS: Authenticated projection-exclusion prototype-member deletion in @apostrophecms/db-connect causes process-wide denial of service
影響: npm:@apostrophecms/db-connect < 1.1.0 → 1.1.0, npm:apostrophe < 4.33.0 → 4.33.0 @apostrophecms/db-connect ships an in-memory MongoDB emulation used by its SQLite, PostgreSQL, and multipostgres adapters. Its unsetNestedField helper walks an attacker-controlled dotted field path with no segment validation and calls delete on the resolved property. A low-privileged authenticated user (any role holding view-draft, which every editor and contributor has; reduced to any logged-in user when guestApiAccess is enabled) can send a piece-type REST GET request whose project qu…

cve-2026-47878 - MEDIUM - Unsafe Java deserialization in DefaultExecutionContextSerializer without class allowlist
DefaultExecutionContextSerializer , used by default in Spring Batch's JDBC job repository, passes Base64-decoded bytes directly to ObjectInputStream.readObject() without an ObjectInputFilter that restricts types to a trusted class allowlist. This issue is in the same class as CVE-2020-5411 , which addressed unsafe deserialization in Jackson2ExecutionContextStringSerializer . The MongoDB backend and ResourcelessJobRepository are not affected.
